Terralba
The town of Terralba is situated of the West coast of Sardinia, 15 minutes drive from the beach. The whole area is mostly flat surrounded by mountains of lush green farms and areas of natural beauty. The town is vibrant with bars and restaurants offering local cuisine at local prices. You will find the people of Terralba to be very friendly and helpful.
Bird Watching
The farmland and wetland around Terralba hosts migrating birds and birds of prey. Commonly seen are the pink flamingos that now nest in the area and reside all year round.

Archeology
Many archeological sites of the Nuragic, Phoenician and Roman civilisations are a short drive away.
There are numerous museums showcasing Sardinia's heritage where you can explore the long lost history from around the Mediterranean.
Coastline
The area is amongst the most underdeveloped and wild in Europe. The coast has long beaches and the largest sand dunes in Europe that harbour rare, wild plants.
The beaches are world-foumous for their unique types and colours of sand. The sea is crystal-clear and warm throughout the summer periods.
Art & Music
Sardinia is a great stage for discovering both traditional and contemporary music. A number of international jazz festivals give a vibrance to the summer.
Many modern style artists are born on the island and express the unique flavour of the magical landscapes and cultures that is the mixing pot of Sardinia.
